The surgery has been scheduled for Thursday, April 5th. I also learned today that the node sample that was taken on Monday was clear. However, the doctor warned us that the node biopsy is not 100% accurate. They will remove the "sentinel node" during the surgery and test it then too.

I have been wanting to call since hearing of your diagnosis. Knowing how difficult it is to take a plethora of calls at this time, it's great to have this method of staying in touch.
I'm glad to hear that you're having a sentinal node biopsy. That's what I had also, and was glad that I did.
Let me know if there is anything I can do. Anything. You can do this!! Not only that but you will come out better on the other end!!

Just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you and will in the upcoming weeks. My sister is coming up on 7 years of being cancer free after her diagnosis at age 39. By the way I saw holiday pics of your girls-they are truly beautiful!!

Had a little trouble with the Google account opening procedure (I think I may have about 40 of them now) but I'm in. I've been reading all the notes and it's pretty apparent that you have a big fan club as a support group. Imagine that. I'll share a story about you with the group that makes me smile. Last week in the middle of all this unfolding, but before meeting with the surgeon, I told you that you'd feel better once you had a game plan and could start working on the execution. And you said, "Right, but first I think we have to get a little better understanding of what the opposing team is up to." Pretty good attitude and sense of humor in the face of some heavy duty news and decisions. But that’s just a couple of the things that you’re all about, good attitude and sense of humor.
